DOUG COLLINS MAY ASK PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR DISASTER RELIEF BEFORE THE 4TH QUARTER OF TONIGHT'S SIXERS vs THE ORANGE AND BLUE HURRICANE FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE KNICKS RAVAGES PHILLY TONIGHT.

Written by Peaceman on .

The entire NBA is now taking note of the warning Chris Bosh sent out to the entire League, " The Knicks are building one very dangerous team and they are flying under the radar."
Perhaps the most scary fact is the EYE of this Orange and Blue Storm is gathering strength every day that Shumpert, Amare and Camby can take more time to get healthy and add to
the increased severity of category of this Storm. With Tyson Chandler playing yesterday battling Flu like symptoms and the conditioning of Rasheed Wallace increasing every day is disconcerting to every team
in the league that must face this Orange and Blue Storm.

The message the Knicks will send tonight is that they will not take "Games Off" or let up. The depth of this team will not allow for such under Coach Miike Woodson. What may be even more scary is that  the Knicks have by far not played their best Basketball as of yet. This Re-post of the Sixer blog ( Thank Brookdon of The Knicks Blog) will show the opposition's view from a perspective of other teams that have to face this Orange and Blue Storm :  SIXER BLOG COMMENTS MADE YESTERDAY..........

"The key would be stopping Melo. Melo is their ONLY scoring threat out there. Hopefully, Thad, Dorell and ET can give Melo a hard time scoring."

"Lavoy on Tyson Chandler: Holy mismatch"

"hate melo."

"Thad on Melo is a huge mismatch in favor of Melo"

"When did the Knicks learn to move the ball?"

"Sixers should slow it down and wait for half the Knicks roster to die."

"I hate Novak."

"When will the Knicks 3pt% finally regress?"

"Maybe seeing what Melo does to us before and after Iguodala will convince people he was important?"

"But the defense as a whole has been very bad. Gotta say though, the Knicks’ spacing is really impressive. They did this against (a half asleep, but still) Miami the other night. They are so much better with Melo at the 4."

" I agree with melo being better at the four simply because he causes match up problems from that position, is a good passer out of double teams as well."

"Personal dislike aside, I think the Knicks are a pretty good team that has a chance to be special. Their weakness last year was injuries + PG play. And Melo at the 4 creates a mismatch at that spot plus it opens up the 3 for another perimeter shooter."

"The MSG broadcast is actually not that bad"

"JR Smith has nights like this every once in a while just hits EVERYTHING. When he was with the Nuggets seemed like every week or 2 I’d look at the scoreboard and see that Smith had dropped like 37 or 41 or something with 7 3s."

Tonight will be another Knick Blowout win. Tonight we may see the finalisation of the starting lineup despite Amare and Shumpert's return. Tonight you may see JR Smith's punishment for talking to the press about his goal of being a starter lifted.  Worth repeating again " "JR Smith has nights like this every once in a while just hits EVERYTHING. When he was with the Nuggets seemed like every week or 2 I’d look at the scoreboard and see that Smith had dropped like 37 or 41 or something with 7 3s.

The Knicks have held the Heat and Sixers whom have both been predicted by the MSM to finish well ahead of the Knicks to 84 points! 84 points!!! This Orange and Blue Storm's defense will only get much better when Camby and Shumpert return and Rasheed Wallace is in NBA shape. Make no mistake, we are watching something special evolve here that is not a gimmick or insanity. We are watching the early coming together of the 2012-13 unbeatable Orange and Blue Hurricane formerly known as the New York Knicks. It's been 40 long years since we've had a team so special, talented and well coached.

Here is a bold prediction that I will make and feel it will happen. The Knicks start out 12-0. Yes I said that,  12-0.  Here are our next 9 games after tonight:

Fri, Nov 9 7:30 PM WIN BY 15
Tue, Nov 13 7:00 PM Win by 22
Thu, Nov 15 8:30 PM Win by 24
Fri, Nov 16 9:30 PM ESPN Win by 12
Sun, Nov 18 12:00 PM Win by 8
Tue, Nov 20 8:00 PM Win by 11
Wed, Nov 21 8:30 PM Win by 28
Fri, Nov 23 8:00 PM***              WIN BY 30

Sun, Nov 25 1:00 PM Win by 8
Mon, Nov 26 7:00 PM                                                                     Win by 20

Call me whatever you feel like ...... but after this run... all the MSM highlights will be: CAN THE ORANGE AND BLUE STORM WHO THE KNICKS HAVE BECOME. BE STOPPED?
Of course this is wishful thinking but consider the talent and determination of this Orange and Blue Hurricane formerly known as the New York Knicks, it would not take a miracle or insanity for such a start
to truly happen. Don't bet against me here...you'd lose big time!

PHILLY IN BIG TROUBLE TODAY AT THE GARDEN

Written by Peaceman on .

After dismantling the world Chump Heat... the make up of this Knick team will not be taking nights off as they have done under past coaches. The depth of this team
is plain out scary. Philly has no chance of even making this game competitive. The quality of our bench will keep each starter on their toes.. every night.  Rasheed Wallace has been the most overlooked piece of our roster since his signing. Keep in mind Sheed just turned 38. He's younger than Kirt Thomas ( who plays 10 years younger than his age) younger than Jason Kidd and Camby. Rasheed's size, shooting ability and defensive presence brings chills to think of him putting 15-20 quality minutes per night at the 4 or 5. In the past the Knicks would most likely have a drop off game considering the thumping we just gave the Heat. Not this year. An argument can be made that our entire roster could possibly be starters on other teams in this league... including the man who made the final cut ..Chris Copeland.

Thank God the Creator our family members Lives and Post up and their family's are safe. With that being said, we have something so special this year it hurts to see our Fanatics for life missing in action for this breath taking ride the Knicks are going to give us this year. I taped the Heat game and noted that defensively Brewer, Melo and JR Smith both put Wade and Lebron in check. In fact the rewind showed 6 times JR stopped both James and Wade from driving to the lane with hard nose defense. He is a badass on both ends. Melo's body looks like he just got drafted from The CUSE. Felton's body looks like a clone of him playing for North Carolina. So many good things happening for the Fanatic family. O&B has just become a first time father to a beautiful baby girl and will always remember this year as special due to his fatherhood and the Knicks winning the chip this year. One blessed man. Props to Cooley high for keeping our Spirits up and bringing hope to keep our blog running. Props to Steady for being " Steady."

Hope all of you turned back your clocks so you will not miss a moment of today's thumping of the Sixers! Hoping all of you can chime in during the game or even blog in real time. I am bursting with excitement and realistic expectations of a Championship, the knowledge of all the Fanatic family are safe and in good Spirits. Here is something to think about.  WE HAVE A EXCELLENT CHANCE OF GOING ALL THE WAY THIS YEAR. MELO BEING MVP. COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN RASHEED WALLACE , ROOKIE OF THE YEAR IN EITHER COPELAND OR PABLO, MOST IMPROVED PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN JR SMITH, DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN CHANDLER OR CAMBY, COACH OF THE YEAR IN WOODSON, AND SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR IN BREWER,NOVAK, KIDD OR AMARE...yes I said AMARE!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY FANATICS...HOPE TO E-SEE YOUR COMMENTS OR BLOG IN REAL TIME TODAY AT NOON!

THE HEAT IS ON. ONE OF THESE TWO TEAMS WILL BE THE NEXT WORLD CHAMPIONS. MELO OR LEBRON WILL ALSO BE MVP. BET IT ALL ON MELO & THE KNICKS

Written by Peaceman on .

We've waited, said TWT ( a Steady-isum for Time will Tell ).... for this very moment for a very long time.  Tonight is the last night the Knicks will be known as good.
Tonight will be the start of something no MSM would believe or even dare to believe. The Knicks will be known as the team to beat on their way to the Championship.
Tonight will be the last time even Barkley question's this teams desire or talent to roll over the entire league.  MELO knows this is his year to be  MVP.

Few pundantss have noted the 28 year old Anthony is ready to lead the most talented Knick team in over a decade, to the Promised land. Am I too hyped? NO. Just a die hard fan that can respect
the combo of young and older Veterans ... ( Chandler, Kidd and Rasheed with Rings) and a vastly underrated coach in Mike Woodson to finally bring the perfect storm together, to CRUSH
any team in our path.  NO excuses will be accepted, Even with Amare and Shumpert missing will not slow down this Storm. Our team is so deep any player on the team will step in and step up!

Too high of an expectation? Absolutely NOT. Jump aboard now because believe me it's the Knicks time. You will not be disappointed. Hopefully you faithful Fanatics will post a line or two
and will check  in at halftime to see the comments. Tonight you will see why Chris Bosh fears this team. Tonight is the start of a legend of a team that will echo for years to come as one of
the best. BELIVE IT! LGK

Are the Minnesota Wolf's too WHITE?????

Written by Source One on .

Repost from Yahoo:

Minnesota Timberwolves fans may notice something different about their team this year. In a league in which American-born black players made up 75 percent of roster spots in 2011, the Timberwolves will have an opening-day roster comprising just 33 percent black players (five out of 15).

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, this year's squad will be the league's whitest since the 1980s Boston Celtics.

Is that a problem?

Some civil rights leaders in Minneapolis think so. Tyrone Terrell, chairman of St. Paul's African American leadership council, told the Star-Tribune that he thinks the unbalanced roster could be seen as a ploy by the ownership to sell the team to a majority-white fan base.

"How did we get a roster that resembles the 1955 Lakers?" Terrell said to the Star-Tribune. "I think everything is a strategy. Nothing happens by happenstance."

Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn called the allegations "patently false."

Indeed, while the team lacks as many African-American players as most other squads, the Timberwolves are still quite diverse. Five of their ten white players were born outside of the United States.

Brandon Roy, projected to be the team's only black starter, says the color of his teammates doesn't faze him.

"It's just basketball," Roy said. "I never really had to feel like I'm the only black guy out here. I've played on teams that maybe had all black guys and the feeling is just the same when I'm out there on the floor playing with these guys."

Ron Edwards, a longtime Minneapolis civil rights advocate, told the Star-Tribune that it was "somewhat disturbing" when he saw a game last season in which Wes Johnson was the only black player on the floor for the Timberwolves. The composition of this season's roster has prompted Edwards to react even stronger.

"It raises some real questions to me about what's really intended," Edwards said. "I think, personally, that it was calculated. Is this an attempt to get fans back in the stands? Minnesota, after all, is a pretty white state.'

Edwards added that the Timberwolves' roster decisions are a "nullification of diversity and a reversal of history."

Kahn said the Timberwolves targeted two black players as free agents during the summer. But Portland matched Minnesota's offer to Nicolas Batum, and Jordan Hill opted to re-sign with the Lakers at less money for a better chance to win a championship.

"What if Batum and Hill were here?" Kahn said.

NOT ONLY DID CHRIS COPELAND MAKE THE TEAM, BUT MAY START AT THE 3 OPENING NIGHT.

Written by Peaceman on .

Chris Copeland has cemented his position on this Knick Roster the night he scored 34 points in 19 minutes verse the Boston Celtics. What is going to surprise a lot of people is he may start opening night at the 3. With Amare out 2-3 weeks and the good news that Chandler's MRI showed little more than a slight bone bruise means Chandler will Start at center opening night. Melo will start at the 4 with Jr Smith at the 2 and Raymond Felt-on will start at the1. Camby, Wallace, Kidd, Pablo, Brewer, AMARE and Novacanie will perhaps make the league aware of us having the deepest bench in the NBA.

Look for Pablo to play major minutes with this club. Pablo makes everyone around him better and we witnessed such in preseason as he made Copeland an example of bringing out the best in an unknown player. Kidd looked good also but Pablo's 5 years of youth on Kidd and deceptive change of speed moves will bring out all the talent this current team has.. which is equal or better than any elite team in the NBA. Even better news comes from the knicks blog http://theknicksblog.com/knicks/j-r-s-ready-to-go/    JR SMITH IS Locked and loaded, ready to prove at 27 years old and an 8 year veteran, this becomes one dangerous team.

I predict the Knicks come out the block strong with wins over the Brooklyn Nets followed by a "Thumping " they will give the Heat during the Garden opener. There is something very special about this years team. We will not play passive and will literally bowl strikes the entire season. Mike Woodson will have to make sure he protects our players health and goes with whatever lineup works. This may include a decision to not disrupt team chemistry if we start out 5-0 by insuring Amare 's role will be coming off the bench which is not unreasonable in the least with our depth and talent.

John F Kennedy once said " Victory has a Thousand Fathers , however defeat will always remain an Orphan. Fellow Fanatics....EACH Knick will have a Thousand Fathers all the way to the Championship.
LGK...

LANDRY AND LIN STINKING UP PRE-SEASON AND BEYOND

Written by Peaceman on .

Landry and Lin make fun of their fans as they poke fun of their supporters mimicking the BLIND as to the idiot Rockets and Raptors to give them Million dollar contracts.
LINE DRIVE SHOT Landry is bricking it in Toronto as LINZOMBIE is stinking up Houston. They will next be on the cover of "STINK Magazine" as the richest no talent ballers to ever play the game.

Glen Grunwald went off record to say this...indeed it was said. I wish Jeremy and Landry the best...but both are not worth one forth of the contracts they signed as
Professional Basketball Players. Grunwald stated.... look at what their own organisations have said about them so far! I'm happy to have signed Ray Felton and Jason Kidd.
Grundwald also said 28 year old CHRIS COPELAND and 35 year old Pablo Prigioni  may come down to a dead heat to share honours for being Rookies of the year.

JR SMITH WILL START THE SEASON AS OUR STARTING SG ACCORDING TO MULTIPLE KNICK SOURCES!

TONIGHT 10-13-12 Knicks vs Celtics on MSG 7:30PM

Written by Peaceman on .

Tonight is much more than a pre-season Game. Both clubs want to flex their "New Look" and we can only hope Rasheed Wallace gets some burn to burn the Celtics tonight.
We can try blogging in real time. However, , my prediction......Knicks blow out the Celtics to set a tone and statement throughout the league. LGK
I will be checking in to see who is blogging live.

New York Knicks Framed Championship Photo

We've all waited for this season. Some more than others. This is our year. Next up Saturday the 13TH is a MSG game vs the Celtics. To all you non-believers.... it don't matter....we are going to win it all.

RASHEED WALLACE TO SIGN WITH KNICKS THIS MONDAY.

Written by Peaceman on .

2012-09-28 Rasheed Wallace

Rasheed Abdul Wallace (born September 17, 1974) just turned 38 years old last week. Many sources including the post are reporting that Sheed will officially sign with the Knicks this Monday.  Some will say he's "washed up" others will cheer this move. Make no mistake. a healthy 15-20 per game Rasheed can help the Knick go all the way this year and that fact in itself may be the reason Rasheed wants in with New York ONLY.

Here's a little bit of information you may not know. During Rasheed's last NBA game ( game 7 Celtics vs Lakers) Wallace was troubled by his Mother's health. She was not expected to live 6 months from his last game as a Celtic. Rasheed's Mother defied all odds and is now in total recovery and indeed healthy and somewhat a medical miracle. Who can blame Rasheed for wanting to be with his Mother during her then supposed last days? Barkley, O'neal and many have dissed this team. However, we Fanatics know better. Rasheed has a ring under Larry Brown and then assistant Coach Mike Woodson. He can only help out with defense but can pop a short Jumper and bury the three if the floor is spread out for Melo to go to work.
Time will tell...but we can only hope people ignore Chris Bosh's warning about "Don't Sleep on the Knicks" which is going to be one of the main reason's why we will raise another banner in the Garden this June....it's been 40 plus years and it's our time.  Chandler and Amare have endorsed his signing. Amare stated he was blown away that Rasheed still can light it up from 3 point range or Pop a 12 footer. We could also use a few more Tech's to fire up our team at times! ( Joke) LGK
