Knicks Injury Situation: Is there Hope for Stoudemire and Lin?

Written by Ciarán Gowan on .

Injuries always seem to haunt the Knicks.

Last year, things were looking very bright indeed. Some were skeptical about Stoudemire and Anthony being able to work with each other but, ultimately, all were excited for the Knicks' first playoff appearance in years. The rival Celtics were the opponent and, though they had an excellent defense, the Knicks still had a genuine chance to take a game or two from them.

Then disaster struck.

Billups went down with a recurring knee injury, and Amar'e soon followed with a back injury that he somehow picked up whilst dunking in the pre-game warm-ups. Years of waiting, a major free agent signing and a huge trade ended in the worst way possible; with star players sitting helplessly on the bench.

Almost a year removed from that playoff series and injuries are a major setback once again.

Believe in Carmelo

Written by Ciarán Gowan on .

"We should have kept Gallo"

"He's selfish"

"He's inefficient"

"He's overpayed"

"Trade him away!"

It's time for the criticisms to stop.

On Easter Sunday, Carmelo K. Anthony showed us exactly why we brought him back to the city of his birth: Because this is what he does. This is who he really is.

What Melo did yesterday was special. It's not the first time he's done it, and it certainly won't be the last. In fact, these next two weeks and these last few games are his type of stage to do it once again.

It's time to get behind Melo now, because without Amar'e, and without Jeremy Lin, he's going to be the man to take us to the playoffs, and maybe even beyond.

11, 10, 9, 8.2 BANG!

Frozen in time on Easter Sunday 2012 is "The Shot."

Great win by the Knicks. Look for JR and Novak to help Melo more on the offense and the entire team needs to play like Shumpert on the defense and our Knicks
will move up in the seedings . We are in soul possession of 7TH seed due to our tie breaker with Philly! Big props to Tyson Chandler and Coach Woodson. Welcome back Jeffries and Walker. We can hope that Mike Woodson can rub off on Walker and we have another viable role player.

I believe we can pull off Clyde's retired number of wins before the playoffs. It appears we are peeking at the right time. Lets do this New York. We are one dangerous team! A uncanny similar  shot against the very same team is seen here in November 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qLMNbhz5rg
