HEY GRUNDWALD. PLEASE GET ON A FLIGHT AND TALK WITH DJ AUGUSTIN WHO WAS JUST RELEASED BY THE BOBCATS.

   DJ AUGUSTIN

With Kemba Walker taking over the Bobcats, they have found no room for DJ Augustin. Augustin is rumored to be signing with the Pacers but nothing is offical.
Here is an opportunity for Grundwald to shine. Offer Augustin the same deal as LIN and let Houston have LIN. Everyone Knows Augustin is a pure young PG that would have much more an impact this season than LIN will the next entire four seasons. I don't know how the Knicks could at least not try? Knickknack is a Dick.
Just blogging.

WE NEED A YOUNG PG...... DJ FITS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED. LGK

CHRIS PAUL TO MEDIA" I'M KEEPING MY OPTIONS OPEN!. I KNOW WHY I DECLINED THE LAST OFFER AND REMEMBER MY " TOAST?"

Written by Peaceman on .

“We’ll form our own Big 3,” Paul said of possibly joining forces with Amar’e Stoudemire and Anthony - who would be traded to the Knicks seven months later - in New York.  It has been nearly two years since Chris Paul made that toast heard ’round the NBA at Carmelo Anthony’s wedding.

“I know why I didn't sign my extension,” Paul told the media on Sunday before the U.S. Olympic team practiced. “I’m going to play this season out and see what my options are.”

Paul hinted at ending ending up in a Knicks uniform and and so did Anthony, who smiled when asked about Paul’s future prospects. Paul has learned to say all the right things since his premature request to get out of the NOH.  Including this bone to the media : “I love where I am, I love playing with the Clippers and I love playing with this guy (Blake Griffin),” Paul said. “At the end of the year I’ll weigh all my options. That will be my top priority going into next summer.

The Knicks know their window is closing faster than Jason Kidd is turning 40. Even the novice Knick fan knows that Jason Kidd backing up Jeremy Lin will not bring this team to even an Eastern Conference finals. They know it's a leaking
until CP3 comes to 2 Penn Plaza. BELIEVE IT!

Chris Paul declines Clippers’ three-year, $60 million contract extension

Written by Peaceman on .

Chris Paul denied the Los Angeles Clippers' three-year extension 60 Million dollar offer Saturday night. Plain and simple ..... Paul wants to be a Knick and Tyson Chandler may be the one who has to go to make it happen.

Lot of NBA execs believe Chris Paul is still hoping to find a way to get to the Knicks...won't happen this summer. Maybe next July

PEACE ON EARTH AND GOOD WILL TO MEN

Written by Peaceman on .

HEY DREAM TEAM 1992   FROM ISIAH THOMAS

Here are your Members of the 1992 "Dream Team."

Charles (no Ring) Barkley
 Larry Bird
Clyde Drexler
Patrick ( no Ring) Ewing
 Magic Johnson,
 Michael Jordan,
Christian( A pure White Man America symbol) Laettner,
 Karl (no Ring) Malone,
Chris ( no Ring and Drunk driver resulting in the death of others) Mullin,
Scottie Pippen,
 David Robinson,
 John ( no Ring) Stockton

Six of these players never won a Championship in the NBA.  After watching a sickening documentary on this 1992 "Dream Team" I now have a lot more Respect for Isiah Thomas as a player. Thomas has won at every level of his Basketball career. State High School Chip. NCAA Championship ( under Bobby Knight) and TWO
NBA Championships in a league that was not watered down like it is today. He was the ultimate floor general of perhaps the most physical and toughest team that ever played the game. Surely Isiah deserved to be on such a team over Barkley, Stockton, Malone ( what chip did the Mailman deliver?) Drexler, Mullin and the joke of Christian Laettner.

Thomas haters are in reality Racists that get a chance to Modern Day LYNCH a Blackman.  They will claim ..NO ..it was the Job he did while at New York, all the while dismissing the deprivation of White men Layden and Walsh. The fact is Thomas may have taken over the worst constructed, worst cap deficient team in history and considering what he inherited... did a good not great job.  But this is America. The same America that slaughtered unarmed Native Americans at wounded knee during a Blizzard. After a thought of humanity by a few but rare decent White men of that era, they dispatched a group of soldiers to Wounded Knee to collect any survivors of that massacre.  The wagonloads of wounded Sioux ( 4 Men and 47 Woman and children ) that were rounded up in subzero temperatures reached Pine Ridge after dark.  Because all available barracks were filled with soldiers, the wounded Sioux woman and children were left lying in open wagons in bitter-cold while an inept Amry officer searched for shelter. Finally the the Episcopal mission was opened, the benches were taken out and hay was scattered over the rough flooring.

It was the fourth day after Christmas in the year of 1890. When the first torn and bleeding bodies were carried into the candlelit Church, those who were conscious could see Christmas greenery hanging from the open rafters. Across the chancel front above the pulpit was strung a crudely lettered banner:
PEACE ON EARTH AND GOOD WILL TO MEN.

Previewing the Knicks' 2012 Offseason

Written by Ciarán Gowan on .

After a quick lockout-shortened season, we're once again back to that time of year; that time filled with multiple trade and free agency rumours, and unfortunately, no actual Knicks basketball.

Still, the 2012 offseason is as important as ever for the Knickerbockers, as they'll look once again to build around Carmelo Anthony and company. Of course, I hesitate to mention Amar'e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler along with 'Melo, because depending on who you believe, they themselves could be used to bring in another superstar. That said, this preview is going to be written assuming that no major trades are going to be made - meaning that from this point in, no trades including any of the big three are going to be mentioned.

So, without further ado, I bring you the offseason preview:
