We've waited, said TWT ( a Steady-isum for Time will Tell ).... for this very moment for a very long time. Tonight is the last night the Knicks will be known as good.
Tonight will be the start of something no MSM would believe or even dare to believe. The Knicks will be known as the team to beat on their way to the Championship.
Tonight will be the last time even Barkley question's this teams desire or talent to roll over the entire league. MELO knows this is his year to be MVP.
Few pundantss have noted the 28 year old Anthony is ready to lead the most talented Knick team in over a decade, to the Promised land. Am I too hyped? NO. Just a die hard fan that can respect
the combo of young and older Veterans ... ( Chandler, Kidd and Rasheed with Rings) and a vastly underrated coach in Mike Woodson to finally bring the perfect storm together, to CRUSH
any team in our path. NO excuses will be accepted, Even with Amare and Shumpert missing will not slow down this Storm. Our team is so deep any player on the team will step in and step up!
Too high of an expectation? Absolutely NOT. Jump aboard now because believe me it's the Knicks time. You will not be disappointed. Hopefully you faithful Fanatics will post a line or two
and will check in at halftime to see the comments. Tonight you will see why Chris Bosh fears this team. Tonight is the start of a legend of a team that will echo for years to come as one of
the best. BELIVE IT! LGK
Glad to read from the many voices in the KFB crew. I'm glad all are well and with power back. But most importantly with their families in tact. I look forward to chiming in on comments from time to time. The writings I would like to submit, I no longer have time to submit. But I will always be a part of this Bball family. Maybe when conditions change, and my little lady allows me a moment, I'll post something up for consumption.
Cheers to all and stay safe and sound!
All is well gents. Got power back; attended the memorial service of a friend killed by the storm yesterday; checking on folks and counting blessings which are abundant. Hope you all are doing well.
Knicks look good. This promises to be an interesting season. Brandon Rush injured -- sad. James Harden and Jeremy Lin are a nice backcourt but McHale needs big man and to learn how to use offensively deficient Tony Douglas. I wonder if David Lee and Jamal Crawford, who may be a lock for 6th man of year again now that Harden is a superstar, hung out last night. Check out Lillard -- Davis has a headache and Lilliard has a "Make Me Rookie of the Year" front court.
Anyway, should be a good season. Knicks finally got a coach that knows a whole helluva lot more about basketball and managing a group of athletes than I do. Being around the two-way stars for that Gold has made Melo a new man. He's destined to work himself into stardom. Heat didn't come to play. They musta thought they were taking the night off. Ray Allen is slower than Steve Nash, but he will be really deadly later this season. Kudo's to Dwayne Wade for his generous donation to the relief efforts.
KFB will live forever. Some group of folks will pick up the mantel and bring quality here on a regular basis. To do it right is a full-time gig unless a quality crew is committed and supported to get it done.
If you want to catch up with me, feel free to e-mail me or call. We now have power and I believe you have my e-mail address.
Peace and Blessings.
Good monring my Fanatic Brethren! Now, that was fun last night. It is only one game and we have 81 more to go, but that was so much fun. And, so desparately needed. Just the diversion the Tri - State Area needed.
IMHO, this season, Point Guard play will make the difference and of health of the team. Regardless oft he age of the team, health is important, certainly going down the stretch.
Lastly Peace & O & B, do not lose hope, nor should you give up on the blog. Always remember, people go through phase sin life and each day can direct your interest elsewhere. Whether it is your children, job, hobbies, aging parents, loss of a love one. Gents, the fellowship we established here is alive and well. Just be patient with your Brothers & Sisters. They will peep in soon to see what's going on. TRUST ME! Peace & Love my Brothers and I wll chime in after the Phllly game on Sunday. GO KNICKS & GO GMEN!

Man too bad. The good old days of live blogging are gone. What happened to Prince, DLT, BARF, Lives, the gang.
Love Mark Cuban: When billionaire is pitted against billionaire, the fur's going to fly. Or in this case, the hair – possibly.Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban issued a challenge to fellow billionaire Donald Trump: A million bucks to go bald.Cuban made the challenge Thursday night as a guest on Dallas TV station KDFW Fox 4's newscast. He was there to promote the Mavericks' home opener Saturday night against the Charlotte Bobcats. When the news anchor brought up the issue of Trump's recent $5 million challenge for President Barack Obama to produce his college records, Cuban couldn't resist taking on his fellow reality TV star."The offer he made for five million, that was one of the dumbest things ever," Cuban said."I thought about responding to that. Maybe I'll put up a million or two if he'll shave his head. What do you think?"Later, Cuban looked directly into the camera to formally issue the challenge."Donald, you shave your head, a million dollars to any charity you want."
Wade:"So it was just like, come on man, we shouldn't be here to play a basketball game. If anything, we should be here to do something to help the city." Is Wade a scared little bitch? We New Yorkers have suffered 9-11. Hurricane SANDY is nothing compared to that day. In fact New Yorkers need this minor distraction of blowing out the Heat for a few hours while we take a break from cleaning up the City. Wade don't want any part of us. He wants Bibby, a crippled Baron Davis, Line drive Landry and Jeremy Lin. He wants no part of Raymond, Kidd, Pablo, Rasheed, Camby, Brewer and Copeland. Wade is Scared!
@Orange_and_Blue Welcome back O & B. Hope you can find time to post your cogent comments from time to time--as the spirit moves or as the Knick basketball bounces in what is shaping up to be the most promising season for the team in decades. KFFL
@Lives Welcome back to those living with "power." I know the feeling of being "powerless" living in my lower Manhattan "shack" thanks to losing my "ranch" to Peaceman. Good to read you again.
Re: Knicks. Agreed, Melo looked great. Felton seems determined and Kidd showed he can have a steady influence on the team. I think Brewer adds defensive intensity and Pablo Prigioni will be among the assist leaders per minutes played--my candidate for "Rookie of the Year." Novacaine instrumental in opening floor by draining his "pain" relieving for Knicks but excruciating for opponents.
We need Stat and Shump back to get true picture of team. I also want to see Camby redux.
Stay with us. LGK
@Cooleyhigh Agreed brother Cooley. Even while across the big pond on the grind, could not resist but check in with my Bloguin Brethrens.
While on point, Steady sends prayers and blessings to KFB fam and loved ones affected by Hurricane Sandy. NJ was badly hit so the LINJ and PUP prayers are double-checked.
Another point, belaboring the point and keeping score, IT seems like Peaceman was a victim of Sandy and having a "source" so now lost the ranch he won from PUP. Congrats PUP on regaining your ranch. Now be mindful not to squander it on the gambling table unless facing Peaceman who's percentage went down when JKidd was announced as the starting SG.
One last point...LBE was started by KFB Indibloggas so don't sweat the small stuff. Coming back here to do the post-game recap is just as well. The rotation on defense is a welcomed addition to this team. Ball movement and trust among veteran players were the difference maker in the final score. Guard play is going to be reliable and Woody will need to settle on a rotation because the second unit does not have an identity yet. Still TWT. Hat tip to STAT who took one for the team allowing a discount of 2 months on his 98 big ones. Thanks STAT and see you on the Rover trails.
Steady as IT goes with his imprint all over this squad.
Let's have a Funeral for the blog O&B
Wish I knew O&B... How's the Baby?
@Post_up_Prince @Orange_and_Blue Post Up, I hope to put up a thread or two this year. Of course little Q'ori will have something to say (coo) about that. But I do plan to run LBE's with the crew on the weekends (probably Friday's) so we will enjoy this season as a KFB season. I will try to get out a work I've been wanting to put out but haven't had the time. Cheers!
Rock Steady, be safe and be productive on the other side of the Pond. Call me when you get back, so we can do Breakfast or Evening Libations. I Intend to call Rhinold this evening. Be safe my Good Brother and look forward to seeing you upon your return.
@Peaceman She's good. Held me back from catching the game on time. I only caught it during the end of the first half. I'll join you over at the Knicks blog.
@Cooleyhigh Thanks Cooley. With your prayers and blessings I knew I would survive the darkness.
@Cooleyhigh Thanks Cooley.
@Peaceman @Steady @Cooleyhigh Could not see Knicks win in opener. Power did not come on in my neighborhood until 4:00 a.m. I will catch the rerun in the afternoon and share with you my reactions. Peace: I thought I bet you that JR would not start as the 2 guard but rather come off the bench. How many games must Woody keep him out of the starting lineup before I get my ranch back?
Don't worry about PUP.. He's OK ...the power has came back on in lower Manhattan these past few days. Good looking out.
Peace, be sure to let PUP know we're praying for him and his Family. Keep us apprised my Good Brother...
