game recognizes game,
With JR or Melo our heros prevail against team Monty with the ugly unis. But it was useful to lose in order to recaLINbrate. JLin17 is so resilient and mentally tough. He was born for NY. His challenges in life have prepared him for this moment in time. IT's his time. He is The One (tag withdrawn from Shump with no fanfare or provocation).
Observations from this marquee game: Our heros can go all the way to the parade. ITs our turn for crying out loud! The script is in and The Closer will be back on Monday to seal the deal. If the coaches are not careful, they will burn out The One and have a scenario like against Boston needing a trey to tie and a cold Novakain coming off the bench after sitting all game. The Village is watching D'Amphony...win The Chip or go home.

Steady as Ring-a-LinG-ding.
Terrific LBE---hosted by Peaceman with extended input from Bob b, Lives and TMan as well as 2nd half contributions from 0 & B and MSG. Nice win against the Mavs and nice rebound from Friday's loss--especially for Jeremy Lin, who put up a fabulous stat line of 28 points, 14 assists, and 5 steals, 4 rebounds, and even a blocked shot. His 7 turnovers are 2 less than the "Lintolerable" 9 TO's he committed against the Hornets, but given that he played 46 out of 48 minutes in a fast-paced, up-tempo game, I would take that performance every time out.
I believe that Lin will improve on his TO's as he gains more experience and learns what he can and cannot do on the court. I am more concerned that D'Antoni put JLin17 out there for 46 minutes and will absolutely burn him out, the way he did Duhon, unless Baron Davis can offer court in a substantive way. JR Smith contributed 15 points without any practice time -- perhaps being used to playing with basketball players of Chinese descent. Chandler and JJ anchored the defense up front, S. Novak was awesome in the 4th quarter. A good team win.
Melo and Baron D may see some burn on Monday against the Nets, but Lin will still be expected to orchestrate matters and lodge considerable minutes. A win against New Jersey would put the Knicks one game over 500. LGK
