Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire playing in charity game at FIU, where Isiah Thomas coaches.

Isiah Thomas just happens to coach at Florida International University, where NBA stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire are playing in a charity game.

Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are all scheduled to play in "The South Florida All-Star Classic," a charity game featuring a who's who of world class players.

The Heat's Wade, James and Chris Bosh are the unofficial hosts for the Oct. 8 event that will take place at Florida International University, where Thomas is the head coach. Moreover, the former Knicks president helped organize the game, which will also feature Chris Paul and Kevin Durant. Several NBA players, including Stoudemire and Joe Johnson, have been working out at FIU with Thomas during the off-season.

Thomas, attending a charity event for the Hannah Storm Foundation Tuesday night in Manhattan, said he was excited about having the game at FIU.

This must be further PROOF that Isiah has no influence in today's NBA!
