They haven't played together much. I just want to look at it. Toney can play off the ball some. And Raymond can guard the 2. It gives us more speed. It was good to see them together, but Toney needs to make a shot every month or so." -- Mike D'Antoni
I don't have much to add to all of the above. Raymond Felton and Danilo Gallinari, without Stoudemire, who sat out the game, to rely on, had their best offensive exhibition of the short pre-season. Danilo scored 20 points on 6-11 shooting to go with three boards, two steals and one assist in 28 minutes. Felton finally had a decent showing with 16 points, five assists and two boards in 28 minutes. His backcourt mate to start the game, Toney Douglas, had five points, all freebies, on 0-7 shooting. D'Antoni did not appear pleased about the office the pairing generated and he appeared to negate the idea of regualry starting the duo as a regular duet.
Nate Robinson got lots of time (30 minutes) for the Celtics but was atrocious from the field going 4-14 overall and 1-7 from the three point line.
Garnett, who was not ejected nor T'd up this game scored 20 points in twenty minutes to go with his four boards and two steals.
Although there was no Live Blogging Event (LBE) we tried the open thread post which attracted Post-Up Prince, Lives and O&B.
